Going to the Chapel...

So I thought I would get into the spirit of things and post up a selection of dresses fit for a contemporary wedding. When I get married I plan on dressing in designer, I do not believe that I have much use for a big frothy gown, although I am concerned that when it comes down to it I will get swept away with it all and end up in a frock to rival that worn by Marie Antoinette.

Alice Temperley showcased some truly stunning pieces at London Fashion Week 2011. So delicate and sure to turn a few fashionista's a shade of green. If me and my beau run away to get hitched this year I would love to be seen in one of these.

I am absolutely in love with this image. I want to be this beautiful girl.

Holly Fulton's stunning fabrics would make a beautiful outfit choice, for the alternative bride. Perhaps for a wedding somewhere exotic or for an evening outfit change.

Not long now until the most talked about Bride of the year will be unveiled...I must admit I am rather curious as to the who and the what she will wear.

Best of British

My sweet friend Cait over at Wayward Daughter has been hosting a Best of British theme all month. I strongly urge you to click over and have a look; the contributers really pulled out all the stops. I was lucky enough to be asked by Cait to put together a mix for the occassion and here it is, I hope you like it.

To see the mix featuring on Wayward Daughter..... X marks the spot.
