Daddy Daddy, if you could only see!

2013 was all about the fellas. We launched our popular bow tie gift sets (I have subsequently lost count of how many I have made!) This led to some serious attention to detail, upping the branding and packaging for all of the menswear products. Sourcing recycled kraft boxes and working with my favourite designer to create easy to follow instructions for our products.

To top it all off we marked the end of an unforgettable year with an amazing Pop Up Shop in the basement of Edinburgh's finest cocktail bar, Lucky Liquor Co. This event was exclusively geared towards dapper gentlemen with a keen eye for design. I was so lucky to be able to bring in work from my favourite local designers and makers.

As a result of all of that happening, we have built up quite the selection of exclusive gifts and picks for the men in your life. Father's Day is just around the corner (June 15th) both Fiona Heather Online and Fiona Heather Etsy has an abundance of exquisite pieces, made to order and some ready to ship.

Treat your old Dad.

All available via the Online shop and Etsy selection.

His and Hers

With Spring comes change and reflection. I always find it the easiest time to evaluate and to start putting some of my many ideas into action. I have been making some small changes and advances within the collection and I'm so pleased with the progress so far.

One idea that I have been meaning to "action" is to go back to where it all started and begin offering exclusive, ready to ship pieces alongside the much loved made to order selection. As a designer I just can't resist a pretty fabric and I have built up quite a stock pile of vintage prints. It's definitely time to breathe new life into them. And so, I am proud to present, the most adorable, his and hers matching collection!

The first run of pieces has been made from delicate Liberty floral cottons. I have produced bow tie and matching pocket square gift sets, for all those dapper lads looking for original accessories. I think these would look gorgeous teamed with a tweed suit. You can expect these to come beautifully packaged in the recycled kraft boxes and with how to tie instructions.

For the ladies, I have made these simple button up tops, to match! Again, cut from Liberty cotton's these camisoles are incredibly versatile. Try teaming them with everyday skinny jeans and elegant maxi skirts. Perfect for the Summer months ahead.

For those new to the label here is a brief summary of how it kind of started...
After graduating, I made an incredibly small run of simple shift dresses, from vintage fabrics. They were one of a kind and never to be made again. To my surprise and absolute delight, they began selling faster than I could make them. I was so encouraged by the response that I plucked up the confidence to let the business grow it's wings.

It's been really great getting back to making one of a kind exclusives. I often wonder where those first dresses have ended up. Now I wonder who will be lucky enough to snap these pieces up.
I hope you love the results!
