In The Company of Wolves

On Wednesday 26th October I packed up my clothes and returned to Glasgow to take part in the award winning fashion and art event "In The Company of Wolves". It is the first time I have ever taken part in a show alone, not being represented by a boutique or with anyone to hold my hand... So needless to say I was racked with that horribly addictive, nervous excitement.

I was pleased to see some familiar faces behind the scenes and overjoyed with the friends who braved the rain to see what I have been up to lately. Pictured above is a collection of images that have surfaced from the night, I would strongly urge you to click the links to see the work that the other amazing designers produced. My personal fav's were Jenni Lööf, with her wearable, high end clothing all cut from vintage fabrics and Sweet Danger, who opened the show with mesmerising dresses, cut from silk that lingered across the runway like smoke. The panic levels did reach a climax after seeing these collections, they really set the standard.

The girls behind the event are obviously pros before their time. I arrived, gave the dressers a brief explanation on how I wanted the belts tied and then left it all in their more than capable hands.

My everlasting thanks to Claire and her dream team who made the night happen and most importantly invited me to be a part of it. To the beautiful girls that brought the looks to life and to the dressers, they had their work more than cut out for them that night. You have my deepest respect.
